Session 42

PCs (lvl 10): Èiraden, Ganelon, Hela, Tana, JP 

The party tries to communicate with the monstrosity, but what they learn is not really good news. It seems this race of tentacled monsters has returned to Nosdoral to take possession of the world, and enslave every life form on it. When it's clear that no amount of diplomacy will work on these alien minds, the party attacks and destroy the creature.

They proceed to a lower level, where they find a gigantic hologram of a humanoid creature, protected by several ape-like constructs. The image seems to be the mind behind the whole operation, so the PCs fight this one more challenge. After a risky battle they emerge victorious, but some sort of self-destruct procedure begins to take place.

Mind guides the party to a safe space, which is actually a spaceship ready to take flight. The PCs activate the ship, and they make their escape. They soon realize they're in space, far away from their world. As they wonder at the breath-taking view of their own planet, they witness the mother-ship from which they just escaped being attacked by several smaller ships of a githyanki design.
