The party is a Felipe's palace to discuss the recent events. They take some time to interrogate their prisoners, and they learn about Athai's plan to create magically enhanced soldiers. The young girl (Sarsha) the party rescued from the laboratory is one of these living experiments.
One of the prisoners, Valin, is a former apprentice of Uroth. He had stolen some of his researches, and he had escaped with them to sell them for the highest price. Valin reveals the location of Uroth's lair, a volcanic island north of Kelisuris.
The Keeper of Secrets arrives.
