Maugas are small humanoids with a bronze-colored complexion interrupted only by small fractures that furrow the skin and seem to radiate heat and light.
Their build is slender despite their short stature, their features are delicate and oblong, the ears are pointed, the cut of the eyes is thin and elongated, the lips are fine and the cheekbones are not very pronounced.
This allows them to be quite agile and silent, giving their movements the same grace of flames that flicker in the crackle of a hearth.
Their body temperature is higher than that of other humanoids, making them pleasant companions in the territories and seasons of harsher climate. This feature, together with their resistant and rough skin, which resembles leather, makes sure that they do not need fur to maintain body temperature. The eyes are without iris and a bright orange.
They mainly dress with skins of native creatures of the fire plane, sometimes they are covered with iron or other metals that resist heat well, the bodies are adorned with dark metal jewels for those related to arcane skills or with teeth of salamanders and other local fauna for those who usually hunt and fight.
