The party meets in the city of Stonegat, at the Tavern of the Drunken Wolf. They overhear a group of archeologists talking about an excavation site that was "stolen" from them. The archeologists ask the PCs to take care of the situation, and either send away the "intruders" or recover whatever archeological find they discover in the mines.
The party begins the two days travel to the site. During the evening watches, they have the chance to know each other a little better.
