The party enters the mines, killing several aberrant creatures called kruthik. After a first foray, they return to the surface to rest.
During their rest, they get the feeling of being watched. They eventually discover they've been spied upon by an invisible creature calling himself a "guardian".
They manage to capture the creature, but they only obtain cryptic information about a hidden temple probably situated underground. After some questioning, the prisoner simply disappears.
The party complets their rest, and resume their exploration. When they delve deeper into the caverns, they find the lair of the kruthik queen. The ensuing battle is a dangerous one!
