The party faces their most difficult challenge so far, with several of them falling unconscious due to the wounds received. But those still standing keep fighting, and manage to kill the kruthink queen. Luckily no one is dead, and the party leaves the caves, to rest and discuss what to do next.
Back above ground, the PCs settle for the day, getting to know each other a bit better. They plan to enter the mines again when they're well rested, hoping to find some treasure.
