Session 38

predator beast

PCs (lvl 9): Èiraden, Ganelon, Hela, Tana, JP

While the party is enjoying a rest safely inside their tiny hut, several mostrous predators surrond them. When the party leaves the hut to face the creatures, they discover these beasts have the ability to shoot deadly necrotic rays from their tails. JP succumbs to one of these rays, but he's quicly brought back to life by Tana's magic. 

After defeating the beasts, the skulls of the creatures crack open,and from them come out four-legged brains that rapidly try to escape. The PCs destroy these brains, and quickly leave the scene.

While they travel they're followed by some sort of horrific humanoid creature. The creature looks to be in pain, and the party takes pity on it. After putting it to sleep, they tie it up in order to delay its pursuit.

Eventually they reach the borders of this level, and are faced once again with a dangerous descent to the lower level, seemingly occupied by water.
