PCs (lvl 11): Èiraden, Ganelon, Hela, Tana, JP
The party travels to the small island where the Arkenos compound is supposed to be. When they arrive a the beach, they notice signs of a fight, actually a one-sided slaughter. Looks like the local humanoid tapirs (!) have been killed by someone or something with prodigious magical powers.
The PCs reach the entrance of the compound, where Mind can easily access the mainframe. The artificial intelligence shows them the recordings of what happened a few weeks back. A cloaked man with great power ha entered the compound, slaughtered the indigenous people, and taken control of a giant construct. He them proceeded to somehow "absorb" great quantities of raw power from the compound. The party decide to use a scrying spell on this individual, unfortunately without success.
