Session 58

PCs (lvl 12): Èiraden, Ganelon, Katarina, Felipe, Hela

The young woman is Saryel, a scholar in the service of a certain Duskdreamer of the Sapphire Library. She had come to the dwarven ruins along with another scholar named Maxwell, who was captured by devils.

On the trail of Maxwell and his captors, the group ends up in a large room where they hear the voices of devils. As they approach, they are attacked by ghosts and a hideous flying monster. They defeat them and decide to go straight to another group of devils.

In response to their onslaught, the devils send flying demons at them and initiate a ritual to open a portal, perhaps to gain reinforcements. Fortunately, the party manages to interrupt the ritual.

After defeating and forcing the surviving devils to flee, the group examines Maxwell's body: he is still alive even though he was tortured and lost a hand.

The party proposes to them to continue with their mission, that is to open the doors of the Well of Souls, and after some hesitation they agree to join the group. They also indicate the direction of the dwarven train, which the party wants to use to get to their destination.
